Are You Living Your Dream Life?

Stop! Give yourself an honest appraisal of your life as you see it right now.  Is it beautiful and lush? Or is it a train-wreck waiting to happen?

Do you have a picture of your dream life?  What does your dream life look like?

Do you have the kind of money and/or career that you want? Does the economy cause you more stress than you even care to admit?  Or are you at the point where you want to give up and run for cover?

Is your family life harmonious and happy? Do you have time every day to give to your children, to your parents, to your other loved ones?  Or do they just get the leftovers?

When was the last time you read a fine book or took the time to learn something new?  Do you have a yen to do something but not the time to do it? When was the last time you got lost in your favorite hobby?

How is your relationship with your spouse or “significant other”?  Could it do with some sprucing up?  Do you have the kind of fun that you used to have have?  Or are you so busy making a life that you don’t have time for each other?

What do you think of the “higher” things?  Do you have a relationship with God or with nature?  Do you ever take the time to consider your sense of place in the world?

And lastly, how’s your health?  How fit are you?  Can you take a brisk walk without getting out of breath?  Or do you even know the answer to that question? Is your idea of a workout the act of pumping french fries into your mouth?
